Inspiration

I have always been interested in the conceptual background of my art, seeking a poetics that accompanies my painting. Music is a faithful companion in all my painting sessions, a music lover, sensitive, devoted to rhythms and discoveries in all genres of music.

My interest in making sound visible has led me, in recent years, to discover the forms of music, its structure, and to propose a new relationship through other senses such as sight or touch.

Techniques

Painting music is challenging, my process is organic and intuitive, listening to the harmony within music of any genre and translating it into art. I combine the softness of artistic praxis with technology to create my pieces.

I have developed chromatic tables relating theories of Isaac Newton, using technological tools and sciences to elaborate a meticulous methodology to link what you hear with what you see. The use of cymatics, color psychology, and movement theory helps generate a visual vocabulary that results in immersive artworks. 

A new visibility of the invisible in music, through a new use of frequencies and shapes.
